Yeah, I'm ready for the Sophia loose end to be wrapped up. They need to move on. I thought last night's episode was really good, albeit a little slow (but, like you said, not a bad thing). It was interesting to me that there was only one zombie in it.

I, too, don't think Herschel will let them stay. I think they're going to screw it up somehow. I just hope that doesn't end in Herschel dying.

I forgot to stick around for the sneak peek, so maybe I'll go find that online now if I can... Interesting to think that Merl may be back.

What are you guys' thoughts on the results of the test at the end?

I am wondering who the father is... who knows? She certainly doesn't.

What dis you think of Shane's remorse? I am really glad that he feels so bad about it. I hope he stays on the good path. I like him.

That is the real question! Guess we'll (maybe) find out over the next few episodes.

Shane... Bah. I can't decide what I think about Shane. I kind of want him to get eaten, but I'd rather it be in a redemptive gesture, like him seeing that it's the only way for others (Carl or Laurie perhaps) to survive and sacrificing himself. There's room for my mind to change, but, for now... Not a big fan.

And I can't find on a sneak peek what you're talking about with Merl?

It didn't show much on the little preview except there was going to be more action, for sure, that Merl is back and looks pissed, and that Darryl fell down a hill into a creek and pierced his side with an arrow, presumably while searching for Sophia. I think next week's episode is going to be great.

I am hoping that they will find that girl soon and move on, or something. And, honestly I don't think that Herschel is going to let them stay.
When it showed the sneak peak of the next episode I was happy to see that Merl will be back, not because I liked the character but because i wanted to see what he was going to do when he caught back up with everyone.

I feel the opposite about Merl. Yes, I was glad and amused to know he was alive in the second episode of season one, but now its almost like....too late....for him to come back.

Plus it gives me anxiety to think he's going to be mad at everyone despite what we, the audience, know about the group trying to save him.

P.s. didn't like the big, bloated random zombie in the well. Disgusting.

I just think that whole situation is silly. It only took a month or two for her to feel comfortable enough and OK enough to start having sex with Shane?

I understand the extreme and agonizing circumstances they're in, which could result in her connecting with Shane. But it's almost like another testament to Shane's dark side--wasting no time to take her for his own.

I'm not saying he doesn't care. But we are now very aware of what Shane is capable of so I'm just back tracking past episodes to pick out subtle evils in his personality.

Not sure what I think about the pregnancy result. Seems to me the perfect way for Shane to tell Rick what happened while he was away.....

Wow. Just wow.

Tonights episode was pretty good, though it felt too short. Also, I am starting to really dislike Shane. I held out as long as I could, but he really is a scumbag.

Oh, and I am positive that by next episode they will have probably either been kicked off of the farm, or the farm would've been overrun by zombies.... im thinking the latter.

Holy cow. Tonight's episode was slam-packed. Still mulling over my thoughts, but I'm really excited to see what happens next time, as well as super-bummed that next week's a "mid-season finale."

Maybe now Shane will not be quite so obsessive with Lori and Carl...

I am a little surprised at the pace so far. I would have expected them to find Sophia and to have moved on by now. That girl has been lost for a while. Alyssa and I have been wondering if they will even find her alive. I think they probably will, just because it would be a major let down if this many episodes were devoted to that and it turned out she was dead. I don't think they would do that to the audience.

I am also excited about the hinting that Glenn may take a step up. Hopefully there ia no conflict with him. Right now he is one of my favorite characters.

Yeah, Shane is still on the bottom of my list right now. Hopefully he'll be out of the picture more or less soon. I also still wanna punch Andrea in the face whenever I see it, so it's good that I can now hope both of them skedaddle.

Agree with you about Sophia, for sure, as well as Glenn. I think Glenn's a boss. I feel fairly confident in saying that I think that Glenn and Daryl are going to move forward as more of the focus of the show for a while. Rick had his turn, but now it's going to develop them into better, stronger characters, I think.

Wow.
Just, wow.

This was an amazingly intense episode. I don't want to give up any spoilers, but I was pretty surprised on some stuff. I expected the walkers to get out, bit didn't think it would happen in that way.

And, the last walker to come out was a total surprise. Totally sucks.

Yep . I'm so depressed about that, ha. It stinks that we have to wait a few months after just seven episodes.

I love the comic and am really excited about this. I missed it, but my friends (comic nerds and normies alike) all really loved it. look what happened to Heroes from Season One to Season Two - train wreck, which killed the momentum and ultimately the entire series. bad, bad, bad move. perhaps a zombie ate the executives' brains here or something.
