I'm so excited we stopped Tancredo and those crazy ammendments here in Colorado!

I'm more a Catholic Worker type, but I dig it.

It's an interesting issue this. Something I've thought about for a while - that while the two party system (though we do get quite a few independents over here, and some smaller third parties) stifles choice, it does seem to give a lot more stability to a country. The question is, is the lack of choice worth the extra stability.

Though you may all disagree with my premise that the two party system gives more stability but that's how it seems to me!

A one-party government can be super stable. They can really get things done.

Well true that - I suppose its a trade off then. I'm reasonably happy with a two party state as long as minor parties can get some voice and some influence (as it happening over here) in exchange for the stability that brings.

Of course a one person goverment (me of course) would be ultra stable and I'd be more than happy with that.....

After I am made king, perhaps I will conquer OZ and give it to you to run as a vassal state as part of "Manifest Destiny 3: Destiny Down-Under".

NZ's main export will continue to be Tolkien films
