| Egnater? Anyone have any experience or comments on Egnater amps? My hotrod was stolen a couple of weeks ago - boo - and I'm considering replacing it with a rebel 30. Just wondering if anyone here has used one? |

| I'm not sure about the rebel 30, but I've heard that the Tweaker is a really good amp, and it's decently priced. I've never heard anything bad about their amps, to be honest. Check out some demos on youtube, and demo some at your local guitar center/sam ash/whatever.

| Sorry to hear about your hot rod. Incidentally, I got an Egnater Tweaker to replace some stolen gear as well. I love it. The only downside is that none of the many options are footswitchable. I didn't try the rebel, but I'm exceedingly happy with the Tweaker. |

I thought they both sounded great. Quote:

This, and the built in reverb were causing me to lean towards the Rebel. Good to hear that you're happy with the Tweaker. |

| I have the tweaker and I love it. the channels can't be footswithed though. I looked long and hard at the rebel series but decided the tweaker was more for me. If the footswitch thing is to much of a deal breaker they just anounced a tweaker 40 and tweaker 88 which will be bigger versions of the tweaker with two channels. but it will probably be a while before they hit stores.

| The currently available tweaker is really only a 1 channel amp, but with 3 different flavors (and then multiple different variations of those 3 channels). |

| First time I heard an Egnater was about 10 years ago at a Jennifer Knapp concert. Her guitarist was using a 50watt TOL and it sounded awesome!
That said I haven't been as impressed with their newer offerings. If you like it then I'd say go for it! There seem to be a lot of people who like them, they just weren't my thing.
Does anyone know the scoop on them? were they bought out and now distributed through another manufacturer or something? Their current amps seem like an entirely different company from the old ones.

| I've been fairly impressed with the stuff I've played. Not really up my tonal alley, but definitely nice stuff

| I ended up going with the Rebel 30 combo. It sounds awesome...in my living room. Can't wait to try it with the band which is unfortunately a couple weeks away. Great looking amp too, even my wife commented on the appearance. |
