NAD!!!!! Yay!!!

I bought an egnater tweaker today. I really liked it. It was cool I went in looking for a small lunchbox type head tonight at guitar center ( I've been looking for a while) and apperently I had come in the right night because in my guitar center's Loud Lounge (the soundproof box for playing loud in) They had an orange tiny terror, a vox night train, the tweaker, a transatlantic, and a valve Jr. all hooked up to the same cab.( well actually it was 3 different cabs but the cabs were all the same 4x12 mesa) So I was able to A/b each one. I really only compared the tiny terror and tweaker. I had spent numerous sessions with the NT and decided it wasn't for me. The transatlantic was too much to spend. The EVJ didn't have the features I wanted and though I am interested in the Little will mods I needed an amp working now. THe JCA20h was OK but not great. The tiny terror was SPECTACULAR. The tweaker was awesome as well. I will admit that to my ears the orange sounded better than the tweaker in its brit mode HOWEVER the tweaker was not that far behind. It sounds a little thinner but in the end I think putting in some KT88's will thicken it up a bit. PLUS i'll admit the added versatility and features sold me on the tweaker. Like I said too. The orange was only a Little better in tone not enough to lose out on an fx loop mainly. So I am happy and now a proud owner of a tweaker. It sounded awesome thru the 4x12. I got the stock tweaker cab but I plan on getting a 4x12 to use at my drummers place where we rehearse. I'll admit to that this almost seems like it was meant to be. I finally get the money for a new amp (my classic 30 is dying partially due to old age and partially due to me tinkering around on the inside of it) and when I get there all the amps I was even thinking about trying were all waiting to be compared through the same speaker cabs. It was great and this is the first amp I've bought in a long time that I didn't instantly regret. The last 3 I bought I regretted either for the amount of money I spent or not being completely sold on it before I bought it. so I am excited. Sorry for such a long post but I just wanted to share with CGR and If anyone is thinking about this amp I highly recommend it but I guess only time truly tells with amps. So far.. So sweetly good.

Lucky. My Neighbor wants one really bad, and he's an amazing musician, so it must be a good amp.

I demand sound clipies.

I'm sorry. I don't have the means to post sound clips. At least nothing that would be good enough quality to be worth posting.
I tell ya though. This amp takes some time to dial in. Not really because its hard to find a good tone. Its more there are so many tones to choose. I think I've come close though. Also too, my tube screamer really opened this amp to all kinds of new dimensions. It takes the pedal really well and just adds to the possibilities. My greatest surprise on this amp however is that I bought it for it's pushed/crunchy/British sounds but last night I spent an hour just playing clean. I was very shocked at the good sounding clean this has.
