depends on how you render it out too. Some people hate chewy bacon, some people hate it crispy. Some people like it 'just right' and some people like it at either end of the spectrum. Perhaps you should try different cooking methods.

Does she not like it in things either?

edit: already see you answered about pancetta.

Oh noooooo. I just looked in the fridge and NO BACON!

Whadda I do? I mean how do you let the bacon run out? That's grounds for divorce right there. I should never have let the wife be in charge of grocery shopping. Ohhh it's gonna be a long day.

I just had lunch. It was meat...wrapped in bacon and fried. How do you get any better than that?
