Is there such thing? I need a new one like crazy. I want to do some recording too.

I could sell you mine....

on a more serious note... craigslist is your friend. Although you would be more likely to find someone giving away a half decent piano than finding a half decent keyboard for that price

yes craigslist, i got my casio for $40 bucks....

you can get a whole piano for free on craigslist, but they're not super portable...

I want weighted keys and the option of pedals. And possibly be able to record straight from the keyboard rather than setting up a mic. Thats all I care about really. My current keyboard does not have weighted keys and I hate it.

I'm curious about this as well. My son just started playing and I'm messing with it again. I had eight years of classical piano and now I'm trying to "un learn" all that I know about playing piano. Classical pianists can sight read anything but they are some of the most rigid musicians on Earth. It just doesn't work so well in a band setting.

We have a little Yamaha right now but the keys drive me insane. I grew up with lessons on a Steinway (yummy) and practice on a Cable Nelson that had a wonderful feel. Thing is I am not going to spend tons on a keyboard since we use a Roland V Piano and a high dollar Yamaha synthesizer at church. Oh, and I'm still stashing away money for that "new" Martin.

What are the great keyboard deals out there right now?
