What about the OCD don't you like?

And what kind of amp are you using?

You have some solid gear. If you just want more volume, I'd suggest an SBN Big Daddy amp blaster. The builder is a guy from here that is supper awesome.

But for another drive, I'd suggest one of the Danelectro Cool cat drives. Whether you get the silver drive for stand-alone drive or the Transparent overdrive to drive your OCD, you can't really go wrong either way. The Silver drive is actually an OCD clone.

I currently use the OCD and dont know how you could possibly want anything different, haha. That thing sounds amazing.

you may want to look into the Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde... seems pretty common on this forum, but it is a solid pedal with high gain for "louder" stuff.

I know exactly what he's talking about here...unfortunately, I am still striving for that kind of tone myself! I also have a v.4 OCD, which I love, but I would like another drive to give some 'diversity' to my pedalboard.

I highly recommend the Jekyll And Hyde. I've had all three versions and always regret selling them.

Another vote for the J&H. I've got the V1 red pedal. It Rocks. Plus you get basically three pedals in one.
OD, Distortion, and both together.
Set OD for nice Crunch, Dist side for Heavy crunch/rock and if you need a lead turn them both on. Worked for me.
I've got the Ernie Ball 6166 mono volume pedal and love it. The EB JR. is a fine volume pedal as well.
Good choices IMHO.

Terry...

+1, I love both J&H's I've owned, they sound great and are very versatile! I'm personally more a fan of the first red model, I don't like the V2 physically, just for personal reasons. The knobs and the footswitches really annoy me. I currently have a V1 J&H and a H2O
