| So who has been to Saskatchewan? So who knows Sask? I never went, but my wife (who never went there, either) has got some relatives there and maybe we'll go there one day.
I was reading about it; the blurbs say: "Saskatchewan will surprise you".
So, why would this be? It looks huge on the map, anyway. It's a long, square shape.
I think there are loads of farms. Typical of the Canadian Prairies. The middle one of the Canadian Prairie Provinces.

Saskatchewan is rectangular, not square.
Take care.

Yes, I see what you mean. I should have said, squarish...
The rectangle is up on its end..
So is Manitoba, in a sense, except Manitoba also has part of the coasltine from Hudson Bay, whereas Sask. 's boundaries are almost wholly derived from lines on a map....
So, want to go there?

Depends on which part of the rectangle you define as its "end". But I digress.
Yes, Manitoba has a more aesthetically and geometrically pleasing shape than Sask.'s near-rectangular profile.
I would love to go there. Would you like to go with me?

| I was born there, southern sask is really very boring and flat, but the Saskatoon area is rather nice.

So tell us a bit about what's nice is Saskatoon, then?
On the map there's also a Cypress Hills park in the south of the Province, know it?

| I've been to:
Gainsborough, Stoughton, Creighton, Regina, Saskatoon and a few others I can't think of at the moment. At least four other small towns. |

| Well the south is pretty much nothing but flat and farms.
The northern part(not that I've seen a lot of it) is nice enough.
But really I wouldnt think of it as the province you'd want to visit really...

I kind of find open, rolling country wholesome and attractive....
Some ppl prefer either mountains or sea, I know.
But though I never went there yet, the idea of Saskatchewan kind of appeals to me.

| It's not very "rolling"....it's very flat.
But to each his own I suppose.
