B-52 AT112 wont turn on

So get this. Two days ago when I was last using it---played just fine. Nothing had been changed. I played for but five minutes on it. Plugged into same outlet, didn't disconnect/connect anything new up.

Today, I come in and try to turn it on. Nothing powers up, the power light doesnt light up. Checked the power amp fuse. Doesn't LOOK damaged...could be anyways. Outlet powered my bass amp just fine. Tried using a different power cable. Still no luck.

What could possibly be wrong with it? What could break when all the ap did was just sit there?

Probably the fuse. Could be blown even if it doesn't look blown. I'd try a new fuse first.

Okay, I'll try to get a new fuse. If, in fact, it did turn out to be the blown fuse, what do you think could have caused it to blow?

Fuses can blow for a variety of reasons. If you replace it, and your amp powers on, and the fuse doesn't blow again, don't even worry about it. However, if you replace it, your amp powers on, and your fuse blows again after a short amount of time, check the power tubes and sockets.

So, get this. I finally got my hands on a new pair of fuses. Replaced the fuse in the amp. STILL won't turn on.

Yeah it doesn't surprise me on the fuse... I had the 212 version and even if the fuse blows the pilot light still lights up at least... try some outlets maybe even try another power cable if you have a one from a computer or something. (that's assuming you have another one that can handle the same power... I don't know enough to tell the difference you the difference or whether or not they are all the same...)
