Apple Party!

A friend and I are hosting an Apple Party! My dad has countless apple trees at the farm and I'm picking them tomorrow - baking apples. The eating apples were picked and are now all gone. Anyways, I have an unlimited supply of apples. Now I need recipies. Throw everything at me that you know is wonderful. Oh, and I could really use an apple filling recipe for pie. Last time I made filling it was very funny and ruined my crust (I make the best pie crust in the world, and no thats not pride speaking). Anyways. Talk Apple to me! (and the party is Sunday, in two days...)

Last Apple party I went to, my sister brought her iPhone, and my mom brought her iPod, and we were syncing to a new iPad. I brought my iPod, too.

(but seriously, apples + most baked goods = tasty)

apple crisp.
apple cider.
apple dumplings.
apples w/pb
oohh...pb cookies w/apple chunks? maybe not. if you try it, let me know what you think.
apple bread.
apple sauce.
apple cake.
caramel apples!

i don't have recipes on hand, but i tend not to work with set recipes anyways. i either google them or make it up as i go, depending on the complexity of it. caramel apples = not complex. apple cider = not complex. apple cake = google spice cake, and throw in apple chunks with it. apple bread = i'd want a recipe. etc. =)

I don't remember, sadly. They're one of the baking varieties is all I know. they're reddish with yellow/green/light red swirled in there too. So not solid red. and they aren't big, about twice the size of your standard crab-apple I guess.

Yeah, I'm thinking now that if I ever see another apple in the next year or so, I won't feel too well. haha.

We ended up making pie, bread, cake, turnovers, apple sauce, apple rings, these weird pastries marinated in mountain dew, crisp, and cider. It was intense.
