As someone who has owned a PS3 and now owns a 360, and the online is dramatically different. If I wasn't playing games with my friends I would have little reason to own a system, and the ability to communicate with your friends on the 360 is 10 times easier and better. And not that this is a huge deal but you can get headsets that work and get the job done for about 5-10 bucks while you have to shell out 40 bucks for good one on the PS3. Anyway, the 30-40 bucks that I spend on live a year is worth it.
And I totally agree and I hate the way they milk these games, but as long as you are playing the same games it happens on every console. Unless its something awesome, I'll never pay for a map pack.
