| Pedals I might want to save some money for Hello, I posted about what amp I might want to save up for, now, it's pedal time I sing so I don't want a lot of pedals because I think it would distract worship to see the singer doing the pedal dance mid song lol, but I also play half-way lead guitar if that makes any sense. Any suggestions for pedals are welcome. And if you didn't read my other post, the sound I want is like Third Day, something like a rock, blues, country mix. Thanks. |

| Start with the amp, then talk pedals later.
You don't really want to jump the gun on pedals that you don't know how they react with your amp and guitar setup first. |

| Ok, good advice. Yeah, I'm a pedal geek and all I own is a Digitech Hardwire Valve Dist. and a old DOD VGS multi-effects unit. |

| i agree with rainer. but really all you need is an OD, and a nice reverb in my opinion. really depends on what kind of amp you get on that though. If you got a nice two channel amp, then you could just toggle between clean/overdrive, and it might have a spring reverb unit in it, who knows.

| Yeah, I would like a nice overdrive to really push the tubes, get them to break up good. I saw a guy on here that made pedals, I think SBN, he looked like he had some pretty analog or organic or whatever you want to call it pedals. But I do need to get the amp first. |

| Yeah, what pedals would you recommend from him? I know I have to get the amp I want first, but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead. |

| What about the delay he sells? Is it good? |

| Depends on what you want out of a delay. It's an analog-flavor delay, akin to the MXR Carbon Copy or the echo side of the Visual Sound H2O.
It doesn't do the clean crisp digital delay a la U2. |

| Is the Line 6 Echo Park worth the money? I've heard good things about it. |

| It is a very solid delay pedal. I would recommend it.

| The Echo Park is really good and verstile. The best part is the built in tap tempo technology. I though it was chessy at first, but once you get the hang of it, its genius. Oh the best part is I'am trying to sell mine in the gear classifieds (cheap plug) I would totally keep it if I did not have an M9. |

| Does your M9 change your tone very much? Like make it more digital instead of analog? |
