Yes?
The fundamental distortion is more in the neighborhood of Mesa and fender and of course, soldano.
A british tonality is usually thought of as more vox and marshall.
You can dial it up for metal chugs and pristine clean or for verge of breaking up and light drive. The amp is very clear and defined, but just how gainy it is depends on where you set the knobs.

| Oh, yeah, after I looked at it again it didn't make any sense lol. One of those things that only makes sense in my mind while I'm writing it. Thanks for trying to sort that thought out lol. |

I haven't played the 50H, but in the 20H you can get a ton of nice tones just by adjusting the volume and gain knobs.

| Yeah, I definitely don't need a 100 watts, I would have to keep the volume like less than one lol. |

| Right, and if I ever needed that much volume, I could just mic it. |

It is the Super Lead Overdrive which is the Soldano flagship amp which the 50H and 100H are based on. The JCA 20 is based on the Soldano atomic 16, and IIRC, the 50 Combo is a bit of a lucky 13 but altered heavily.

| Oh, ok, will do.
Wow, I loved the tone of the SLO! If that's what the Jet City sounds like I'm in! Wow, it had a nice clean tone, but I really like the distorted tones.

Wow, it had a nice clean tone, but I really like the distorted tones too. | The 50H is your amp then. I own an SLO. I played the 50H with Mike Soldano there at Namm, and well... ...if I am being honest, I'd have never bought the SLO if the 50H was out first. I would not give you a plug nickle for the sonic difference. Being as the transformers are not equal, the 50H was not nearly as loud, but then again it was still capable of being deafeningly loud. The SLO is just almost silly loud.
