| Wow, that's really cool, but I really liked their singer after him just as much if not better.
Either way, i'm not sure if I'm that excited, if they write new stuff it will be newer sounding and better produced to appeal to Chris' teeny bopper croud.

Of course, I'm in the old-school FSF crowd that considers Jason Gleason to be the worst of the three FSF frontmen. What I would expect to hear is something along the lines of "Hide Nothing" era FSF with the storytelling of Chris Carrabba's lyrics. |

| Yeah, I definitely have nothing against Chris's vocals or lyrics, I'm just a little skeptical of new tunes.
Who sang the song "Like Someone You Know"? That's my favourite FSF song, and it's on the greatest hits type record Hope This Finds You Well. Then I have the How To Start A Fire record, which I also like quite a bit. I guess I should buy more extensively before I critic the singers and eras of the band.

Jon Bunch used to be in the band Sense Field. HTSAF is probably my least favorite FSF album because overall I feel like the lyrics are trying to be deep and ambiguous. I never feel like I really connect to them. I also feel like the songwriting on that album was pretty on par for what was going on musically at the time, that is to say, TMID felt groundbreaking whereas HTSAF felt predictable and mundane.
I've noticed that my opinion seems to be a common one with people that were listening to FSF albums in the context of their release periods. HTSAF seems to be the favorite album of a lot of people that experienced FSF for the first time when it was released. |

| It's the only album, besides the greatest hits type record, I definitely plan on checking out other stuff.

On some songs, I would still say that, but after a few years of listening, I would say TMID is the superior release and Carrabba's voice and writing meshes with the band far better.
I can't stand Bunch though. Especially after buying the live album a couple years back. Just a really boring sounding voice. |

The thing I loved about Bunch is that he's dead on key all of the time. Of course, I was a big fan of Bunch's music before he joined FSF. I think what he brought to the band more than anything was a return to it's musical roots that I felt was lost with HTSAF. |

| All their albums STILL manage to stay on a regular rotation on my iPod. I'm pretty excited to see where this goes.

| I think they are only getting together for a one-off concert, but I'm not totally sure.
The Moon is Down is still one of my favorite CD's EVER!
