Looking into an AOC monitor

Does anyone have experience with AOC monitors? Is the color generally good. The reviews on newegg seem to be positive, but I'm nervous because I've not heard of them.

After looking at monitors in person, the best color I have seen from a monitor comes from NEC, LG, or HP (in that order). Personal opinion of course but I would never buy something that depends on how it looks from a review (including what I just typed). If you are serious about color reproduction you should look into IPS type screens but they are a bit more expensive (coming down in price though).

As for the AOC brand, I have only seen their TVs but have never AB'd them with something else so I can't say for sure how they look in comparison.

Thanks for the help ... I decided not to buy a monitor at all, at least for the time being. Thanks anyway.
