| I bet you could either take it in to a shop or set it up yourself. I personally don't know much about setups but I know you can find lots of information online. You can also change pickups if they are bad. You can get some GREAT sounds for cheap from guitar fetish.

| yeah but the body is plywood, that s why i don't want to do much, my main problem with sound is that it's so loud, then i plug my strat in and i can barely hear the thing. |

| do you mean turn it down, if so yes the tone stays the same no matter what volume, and even low it still sounds loud.
btw the extra electronics in this thing do nothing, leave it off i get pretty loud sound, turn the switch on dsound doesn't change, flick the switch all the way and it goes off.... IDK what thats for....

Wasn't the speculation that the electronics were for a built-in wireless system? Off is probably just wired. Both is wired and wireless and all the way is wireless only. Without a receiver you've got nothing.
Of course, it's really hard to say for sure. It might be worth trying to remove the extra stuff completely and just running a traditional Stratocaster wiring to see if anything changes. |

You might also be able to buy them like that.
That also gives me an idea for a yellow body and black pickguard that I have.

Chesh | I did the pick guards like that on purpose, right before I started shaving them down I thought it looked cooler just the way it was, but I've since given the guitar away, so there's not a way I can change it, randy can if he wants to but he likes it the way it is.... |
