DINNER PARTY, with these fabulous new black dishes I just got.

amuse: granny smith, cream cheese, bacon, balsamic reduction


soup: mexican beef stew, corn, potatoes, cotija cheese, tortilla strips


first: oil-poached wild sockeye salmon, plum and golden raisin, simple spinach salad


second: seared new york strip, roasted potato slices, fried onion, pesto sauce


dessert: coconut ice cream... not pictured, i bought it from the store.

Grilled flank steak over organic baby herbs. One of my favorites. It was delish. Seasoned liberally with coarsely ground pepper and salt, rubbed in. Cooked to medium.
