| An Auburn player just kneed an Oregon player in the head, and didn't get ejected. And yes, the refs saw it. They threw a flag on it. Since when is it not an ejectable offense to kick people in the head after the play?
I'm beginning to hate college football. The potential to possibly be the best sporting event...period... is squandered into mediocrity year after year after year.
I would trade all future Olympic games for an NCAA that actually works, and a playoff system in college football.

| bleh...i really wanted the ducks to win...but...you cant win the national championship when you are inside the 5 yard line 2x and only come away with 3 points.

| Enjoy it while it lasts, Auburn. My prediction is that under 24 months from now, all wins from this season will be vacated, as will the national championship. And Newton's Heisman will be stripped as well. |

| I doubt that, Ben. He was already exonerated. I doubt they will revisit it.
So, when is the National Championship game? Auburn vs. TCU, right? |

| yea, i was rooting against cam newton just b/c in my mind, there is no way that his dad acted on his own. cam had to have known what was going on. if he really didnt, i would imagine that their relationship would be a lot more strained and distant from a father trying to make a buck off his own son and jeopardize his son's football career.
and...i like the fact that the ducks have different uniforms every game

I'm with you on the Newton thing, which I'm sure most people are, it just doesn't add up.
So word has it that Michigan has just hired Brady Hoke, which I think is a great decision and the best choice Michigan could have made. He seems like a good, classy guy, he has coached at Michigan before, he knows the area, he recruits well, hes turned two programs around, he actually RECRUITS defensive players, etc. I think hes the best choice to return tradition around here.
I thought it was funny that when Michigan went to LSU to give Les an offer, everyone on the LSU blog was like "who cares, we want him gone anyways" and when hearing about the contract Michigan was going to offer him, they were saying stuff like "lower your price, hes not worth it" which made me a little worried, cause I thought he would accept the job. I'm still surprised he didn't accept it. Anyways, welcome Brady Hoke.

Anyways, welcome Brady Hoke. | He's going to have a hell of a tough row to hoe.

He just took SDSU to their first bowl victory in 40 years...and it was in the Poinsettia Bowl which is typically pretty competitive. In 2008 the Aztecs were 2-10 (before Hoke). In 2009 (Hoke's first year) they went 4-8. In 2010 they went 8-4 and won a bowl game.
So to say that he's got a knack for turning teams around is an understatement IMO. SDSU fans are completely distraught that he's gone. Haha. |

| going back to the cam newton thing. his dad shows up at the national championship game when he specifically told them he was not going to???...and then cam looks for his father after the game (basically saying "screw you auburn, i can do whatever i want")??? this just shows you that they have and always will be "working together"...whether good or bad.
