oh lol I had never paid Orange amps much attention, can't stand the color. a shop just opened up by my office that is an Orange dealer and has tone of 'em, never heard of the Tiny Terror, will have to check it out. looks almost like that ittle bittle Crate PowerBlock head they had a few years ago. is the Tiny Terror tube or solid state? the Crate was solid. tube would be a nicer fit for a worship setting I would think.

Attack, if you're thinking about Line 6's you might (you might not) have to rethink wattages. In general a 30W solid-state amp has less useful volume than a 30W valve amp. Stand a 15W valve amp beside a 30W solid-state amp and you could well find the 15W comes across as louder.

(It's to do with the way the 2 different amp types slide into distortion as they approach their maximum output... everything else being equal, the valves are still making useful, musical-to-the-human-ear sounds while the solid-state devices are making horrible, nonmusical distortion.)

Try a Peavey Bandit. It's a solid state 1x12 combo that will cover a lot of ground using the different settings it has. It's two channels so you get a clean and overdrive, but the clean has two settings and the drive channel has three. There is also a nifty feature which lets it emulate a tube amp and is based on percentages. I forget what the exact feature is. I have one of these amps and it's quite useful and sounds pretty good.

They can be had on the used market for cheap and can power an extension cab too so you will have room for upgrading.

The Tiny Terror is all tube. Great amp. I had one for a year or so. Not quite my cup of tea, but I can see one doing VERY well in a worship setting. High quality piece of equipment.

I wouldn't say that... my lead guitarist plays an Ibanez RG through a Fender HR Deluxe, and it sounds nice and well... Fendery. Occasionally though, he turns on his metal muff and kicks the HR into high gear. It sounds very nice actually, if you like metal.
