That would be neat. So, if I'm not mistaken that would eliminate the need for timing belts and all that jazz right? And adjustment would be a lot cheaper than going out and buying new cams if you wanted a more aggressive setup.
No belts, no cams, no fixed power-curve. You'd have an infinitely adjustable cam profile that you could set based off intake flow, throttle position, load, etcetera.
Of course, desmo valves don't generate a vortex in the intake pipe, where most internal combustion engines generate power. The tornado is a big seller for a reason, guys.

I wonder how the professional racing community would receive this. Because it almost seems unfair. But I suppose if everyone had it, it would all be even. Hmm....
