Regarding the tapes, I think a good place to start is wikipedia, especially since you can check the sources that they cite (to ensure it's actually accurate)

To be honest, there's more observable evidence that the moon landing happened than there is for most of the posters in this threads existence. I'm pretty sure they exist, there's just less evidence that I can observe to actually prove it.
The real, number one reason that it's
patently obvious that we actually went, and landed on the moon at
Mare Tranquillitatis on July 20th, 1969 is simply this:
The Soviets accepted it as fact.
They had the means to verify & disprove the event, they had the equipment to monitor the spaceflight, and they had the reasons to reveal to the world if we faked it. Can you imagine the political fallout if the Kremlin had proved we faked something as important as the moon landing?
