Any chance of expanding your hours where you already work? If not, let the people you work with know you're looking. If you're a good worker there, you've already got an good rep with them. Most of the jobs I've gotten over the years were because I knew someone who knew someone.

Would you consider working in a restaurant? There is always a restaurant hiring somewhere...

You could also look into starting a small business of some kind. Teach music lessons, fix computers and/or guitars, design websites or graphics. IDK what skills you have, but I'm sure there is something you could do.

yeah me too, like when i was layed off from a previous job the guy referred me to another company, i went over there and got the job. but right now my hours are set, nothing i can do, i've already asked, and they are cool with me finding another job, as long as it doesn't interfere with this one. but they don't know anyone.

restaraunts would be ok, just i've applied before and they didn't want me to serve, so i'd have to be in the kitchen.

i could go back to dominos and deliver agian, but that would be hell on my truck....again, and i don't want that.

starting my own business isn't out of the question, it's just hard to do, my friend and his wife are starting one, and i'm going to be a big part of it, when it gets going......

Now, you say you're good with computers? I'd stay away from Best Buy/Geek Squad. They both have a pretty bad reputation.

Do you have any small, local computer shops around?

I don't think there are many down here. Do you guys have Ultimate Electronics around? I've heard that they're better.
