New Pedals Woot!

I thought it was about time to get some new effects(been using a jakyll and hyde and my dd-20 for 4 years now). So I ordered a fulltone fulldrive and a fulltone clyde wah. I really like em a lot. The fulltone works so much better for me. I love having the boost switch and its a pretty transparents pedal. The clyde wah is fun to use, I dont know of many times Ill be using it, but it looked like something fun. I'm hoping to get a few more pedals soonish(after a tele). Do you guys know how if the fulltone ocd has more gain. I'm trying to decide on what pedals to get next. I want something to use for just a clean boost and a pedal with more gain to complement what I have now. I have really been looking at the xotic bb, xotic rc, fulltone ocd or a fulltone gt-500.

Talk to S.B.Nichols on this site. He makes the best clean boost on the market, in the opinion of many CGRers. It is also very affordable.

The OCD is a "heavier" pedal than the Fulldrive, but I'm not a big fan of it. I would suggest checking out the "Dirty Little Secret" by Catalinbread. It is similar to an OCD, but in my opinion far superior.

Just my two cents.

Clean boost? All about the SB Nichols BDAB. Get one, and you will NOT be disappointed.

The "BDAB" is the clean boost to which I was referring, just for the record.

Completely agree with the SBN recommendation for the clean boost.

To me the OCD does have more gain than the Fulldrive. So does the Dirty Little Secret, but I don't know that I would say one is better than the other. Just different.

Since you didn't state an opinion and I did, by process of elimination my opinion must be correct and applicable to all in every situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
