Perhaps it costs more in Japan than it does here? What was the DSi priced like at launch in Japan?

¥18,900. So, around $30 more expensive than the US launch price.

i watched a press conference for it and the graphics are like psp graphics but i didnt know they actually meant 3d with no glasses but yeah theyre gonna get some classics on there i think

Yikes that's a little steep.

Wild guess though... there will be a "shortage" near the holidays so that you don't think twice if you find one

Is it supposed to be a holiday release?
