But seriously, the BDAB is my favorite pedal of any kind of all time. I will never go without one on my board again.

It is true. Many also have two or more. I hopefully will join that club soon.

Edit: on topic, I've been running my BDAB into my Dano Transparent Overdrive into the overdrive side of my Jekyll and hyde and it sounds quiiiiiite good. Lots of versatility too.

Quick question, do you find you just use the overdrive side of the J&H, or do you use the distortion side as well?

I do use the distortion side, but I don't play that much high gain stuff anymore so not as much. It is pretty tight though!

Personally, I never enjoyed the distortion side of the J&H when I owned one back in the day. I also found over time that I really didn't like the overdrive side very much either though, so I ended up selling it. Now I'm using a Fulldrive 2 mosfet/Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret 2 in 1 clone that Eric built me. I think it sounds a lot better than my old J&H and I really like it.

I really like the distortion side of the Jekyll and Hyde along with the O/D of my Screamin' Eagle. But I don't like it as much with the O/D of the J&H itself. It sounds too muddy/bassy to me. The Screamin' Eagle lightens it up and makes it clearer.

Thanks; I've found that most people with a Jekyll and Hyde don't like the distortion side that much...
Or is it because they all play in worship bands and none of us really like distortion...
