| I am very unhappy to see Boise State leave the WAC. *sigh* But they did.
It is now looking as if Kansas and Kansas state will also join the MWC if the Big 12 falls apart.
Ugh. I liked the conferences as they were. |

It is simply bad for the conference to lose Boise State. I have been arguing on behalf of this conference for 5 years, and now my arguments are simply gone. |

| Big 12, with 10 members, will continue to exist.
So, the Pac-11 won't get the Texas schools. The SEC is still the football power, and the Big 12 will not have a conference title game. Very interesting. |

| Utah may or may not be ready to join the Pac-10. I hope for it. This is just as good as Boise State if it is true. . |

| I'm pretty happy that Texas did what it did and the Big 12 is still intact. But Utah leaving the MWC pretty much cancels out the whole Boise State thing, making it pretty pointless.

Utah gets the legitimate conference that they have been craving. Boise State was making a huge jump toward that, but they instantly lost that momentum when Utah decided to leave. |

I thought if anything the Pac-10 would have invited Boise State to the conference. Also, apprently Arkansas might go to the Big 12 which to me would be really stupid. I liked the conferences as they were. I can understand the Pac-10 picking up a team from the WAC or MWC, and also the Big Ten picking up another team so we can have a conference championship, but after that it makes little sense. The Big 12 had some problems but trying to disband the whole conference was dumb.

| Utah is a bigger pick up for the Pac-10 than Boise State would be. The MWC is a bigger conference, especially for football. They have two undefeated seasons with BCS wins in the last 4 years against tougher competition than Boise State has faced. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to see BSU get an invite from the Pac-10. |
