Google Chrome on Linux goes a long way towards making Linux usable on the Desktop

Just saying.

?

I've certainly found Chrome to run faster than Firefox, but Ubuntu was very usable long before Chrome came around.

I just love Chrome. Firefox hasn't been opened on any of my machines for the longest time.

I hate Chrome, I don't understand how you guys love it so much. It takes me 4 to 5 times the amount of time to load a page as it does with firefox.

Well, for most people Chrome is crazy fast. It is noticeably faster than Firefox for me.

Also for me, it is much more reliable with Flash than Firefox on Ubuntu.

I'm a big fan of Chrome these days. I don't even have FF on this PC. If there's something Chrome can't load, I just open up Satan (IE) and use that, as it's generally what sites are formatted for if they don't work on a good browser.

I've become so used to the little things about Chrome that I just get upset when I use a different browser.

i use chrome, after that i forgot what firefox was... i really like the little homepage window that lets you just click on your sites, it's a small feature, but it's pretty cool, and it's really fast.

The one thing I dislike about Chrome is its method of doing Favorites. It's far too easy to accidentally click the "Make this page a favorite" button, and it's a little bit annoying to open the Favorites menu.

I would use chrome, but I <3 my Firefox Install, and I can't get over the tabs on top thing.

That may be true, but it still had Speed Dial first.

:P

Well, Firefox is going that route as well, so one way or another, you'll get used to it.

Click that button again and it un-bookmarks the page. You don't really have to open up the menu.

I agree that Chrome is great and makes linux awesome. Mine doesn't handle flash very well for some reason, but its still faster than FF.
