So how exactly do I go about taking care of that? I apologize, I really am so unknowledgeable when it comes to amps haha.

I would just take it in to a shop with a decent amp tech, bro. Blues Jr.s are not simple to take apart.

I had to take mine to a warranty center.

If you are not an electronic tech, you should not attempt to replace the plate resistor.
