Tom Delonge strat

Here's a link to a craiglist listing in my area. Fender Strat For Sale or Trade Anybody play or own one of these in the past? What were you're thoughts on the guitar?

I never spent much time on one, but AFAIK the one in that listing is basically an MIM Stratocaster with a Seymour Duncan Invader in the bridge position and nothing but a volume knob for the electronics.

That being said, unless you're a big fan of Blink 182, I feel like this is a bit on the pricey side. I do understand that because this is a signature model they are worth a little more, and thus the higher price tag may be warranted, but as far as the guitar outside of it being a signature edition, it's pretty typical.

All that being said, if the single humbucker bridge thing is what you're going for and you don't want to do any electronics modding on another guitar, the Tom Delonge Strat isn't a bad way to go. My experience with them let me to believe that is a one trick pony guitar, but if you like the trick, it's certainly a good one.
