So... I'm thinking about picking up a Weber Silver Bell and a Blue Dog and dropping them into the B52's speaker cab and using it as a 212 for the Night Train and still using the B-52 as backup amp. As such I need to run them at 8 or 16 ohms.
Here's my thing:
What power rating and impedance should I get for best tonal response?
The B52 is a monstrous 100 Watt piece of... sunshine....
And the Night Train is well... The Night Train. (nuff said).
Thoughts?

Then I would put the cab at around 25 watts a speaker and not use the b52 very high. Methinks you could hear cone problems long before they were an issue.
Doing what bill said and pulling out two of the tubes would accomplish it without having to worry as much about turning up the B52. Sounds just fine at half power.
