Almost NOGD

I am so stoked. The pickguard for my 60's era (authentic 60's pearloid pickguard that fits) mustang arrived today.

I need one pickup cover, a few pickguard screws and a little wire and solder and the old fender mustang will sing once again!

I have two pickup covers for it, just one is cream and the other black. While this was originally blue and was refinned black the black looks a lot classier.

I can't wait!

Oh well, like a few projects itll have to wait till graduation, but pretty much all the parts are here.

That has been a year or more to track down all authentic parts to take a gutted mustang from body and neck to renewed glory!

Need to do some fretwork and find a screw, but other than that, I think it is done.

Looks familiar. This is a '64-'65 Fender Duo-Sonic II that may Father-in-Law gave me.

It's funny how there's like a foot of excess string hanging from each tuning peg on your guitar. They should make specific string sets for short scaled guitars to avoid such waste.

Well, I plan on doing a fret level and such.

If anybody seriously wants this guitar... It has been a labor of love, but I think this one will be sold. It was an empty shell when I got it and it has taken a long time to find parts. The volume knob is replaced with an unoriginal wire as are the wires from swtches to the pots, and the pickguard screws. Other than that, its pretty much all original vintage mustang parts.

I hope I don't seem like a vulture, but I sent you a PM.
