Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Yes, Ubisoft has confirmed AC3 for this year! I thought I read its release date to be around 11/1/10.

Ubisoft confirms AC3 to IGN. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Hm. I was really hoping that they would get to Desmond.

Guess I need to get the second one before the third one comes out.

I think they will eventually.. I hope there's more of Desmond's story in this one since the last one began and ended with him fighting his way out of the Templar's custody.

I read a quote from one of the creators (or some other person involved in it) that they could make 27 of these games.. just because of all the great periods in history..

I'm loving the first, so after I play/acquire the second I might pre-order this. I read there's going to multiplayer - not sure how well that would work considering the combat I've seen so far in #1.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

I just finished numero dos. It doesn't exactly mean much, but I can't think of another game sequel with as much improvement as this one. Hopefully they don't take away or ruin any of the changes so far. And they need to finish the story, even though parts of it are getting ridiculous.

The only thing I think Brotherhood needs is a good final boss - the first was okay but the second was boring. I want a boss that's challenging but not so difficult I'm yelling at the TV - like the rest of the games.

totally agree with this, AC2 has so much improvement than AC1 i can't really even play AC1 anymore. i think it may have to do with the fact that AC1 was one of the games that debuted with the 360, but IDK either way. i am totally looking forward to #3 because i absolutely love #2 with all the DLC and everything, and having to shoot that dude during carnivale was pretty fun...(i hope thats no spoiler for anyone)

I'm not saying you're wrong, but do you have any sort of source for that? IGN is pretty reputable...

Plus, it's already been confirmed that AC3 will have Ezio.

Brotherhood is not AC3. AC3 will conclude Desmond's story (presumably)

Brotherhood is a continuation of Ezio's story like the PSP game was for Altair.

Ahhhh, okay. My mistake --- I assumed AC3 and Brotherhood were the same.

I enjoyed 2 much more than 1, but the ending of the story line???? I hope the next Assassin we play is Fonzie, with a motorcycle.

The first game came out the same year as Halo 3, so it's not a launch title. The 360 was relatively new then, though.

Settings for future games mentioned by the developers include "England in the Victorian Era, the Middle Ages, involving King Arthur, the First Great Awakening, the American or French Revolution, or feudal Japan". Japan sounds the most interesting to me, but I don't remember there being many tall buildings during that era.

6 days!!!! I'm real excited for this, although I wouldn't be paying full price if there wasn't multiplayer. I just hope it doesn't lose any replay value since that's the whole appeal of MP.

I'm not gonna post the fourth time a row, but be warned: You will be watching the time until....2012. The probable release date of the final game.
