Thank you guys so much for the replies and suggestions!

Can anyone share any experiences as far as sound quality being changed (or not) when using one cable over another?

I've never noticed a change in sound using different cables, only a change in feel and ruggedness.

Really bad chords are often noisy but I don't notice a difference in "tone" with ANY chord comparison.

In fairness, a cord with a bad short in it can produce a thinner or reduced volume tone, but thats when the dang cord is broken.
