Anyone playing the beta? I'm getting it installed in Wine right now.

Have you seen "CRAZY Ex-Girlfriend Deletes Ex BF Brad's Starcraft 2 Beta Key Email " on youtube? I won't link it because of bad language, but its pretty funny.

i kind of wish I were playing the beta but its alright, I have Battlefield and COD to hold me over until then.

I just looked that video up... Wow.... that is terrible.




I've been patching ALL DAY. I started around noon, got up to Beta 10 in less than an hour, and now five hours later the Beta 11 patch JUST hit the halfway point. And I have to go up to 13.

The game might run at a slow speed, but I've played a couple people successfully!

Definitely, man! Add me! I played an online round the other day after I spent some time messing around with the Terran tech tree and I actually won. The performance was good, too. Not really much lag or anything to speak of. Other than Starcraft II being AWESOME, that is.

So, I'm getting a lovely error now that isn't letting me start the game. I had to use a patched version of Wine for SCII, and I think Wine has *gasp* updated since then. I'm not sure if its now broken. Looks like gaming computer is on my list of things to save for in the very near future...

I didn't pre-order. I submitted my computer's specs to be eligible for the beta probably a year to year and a half ago. Clearly, I was a high priority candidate for SCII now that they're closing it down this coming Monday.

Yeah, super bummer that it's already over. Apparently they're going to re-open it a couple of weeks before launch, but still. Not nearly enough time.
