Hello Everyone,

I run a pretty simple rig; Strat-->Tuner-->OD-->OD-->Volume-->Delay-->Amp. I just bought a TC Electronic Nova Delay. I LOVE IT. Sounds great, works great, presets, I just love it. I wanted to know two things.....

1. Does anyone have any experience with the TC Electronic Nova Modulator or Nova Dynamics (Compressor/Noise Gate)?

2. Which is more important to purchase, a compression pedal or a Modulator? (I like the idea of the Nova modulator cause it has Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Vibrato, and Tremolo in one pedal.)

In my opinion modulation is more useful to the majority of people, and is also the most notable.

Do you play in a country band?

No. Just the worship band, we do a few "country" songs though.

Umm, ever thought about the nova system instead? I love mine. I actually tend to use a lot of compression routinely in my cleans since I got a fun compressor. (Pigtronix Philosopher's tone)

But if you are looking at all 3 the nova might be a better all around pick from TC

I'm actually leaning in this direction. Although I just bought the Nova Delay so I can't really afford $499 on a new toy. My limit right now is about $250.
