Mahindra Pickups

Mahindra Clean Diesel Pickup Trucks and SUVs

These are supposedly going to be available in the U.S. in about 90 days. I could possibly see getting one in a few years.

Essentially, it is a compact pickup that runs with a 4cyl diesel with a 7.5 ft bed and can haul over a ton.

My only complaint is that there is might not be enough space in the standard cab model, and the bed looks too short on the crew cab.

I don't see the need for a small pickup. DIesel full-sizes pull down the same fuel economy (in the real world, but somehow rarely in EPA tests), are more practical, and last longer.
