| NBA Trades What NBA trades do you think are going to happen, and who would you like to see traded?

| How about this trade between the Pacers and Bulls? The Bulls get: Rose, Best, and Norm Richardson. Pacers get: Ron Artest, Ron Mercer, Brad Miller, and Kevin Ollie. I think it's a good trade for both teams. Chicago gets a much needed scorer and a good point guard, Indiana gets inside help in Miller, and a hard-nosed defender in Artest. This also allows Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry to start, which is what the Bulls really want right now. I think that was a good trade for both teams; they both got exactly what they were looking for.

| "claim to fame" I actually played basketball with Eddy Curry when we were in the 8th and 9th grade. We were on a national all-star team. Now, he's in the NBA and I'm doing God's work. I guess that's just one of the things you must sacrifice to get closer to him...Anyway, I just saw Ed's name and thought I'd post that.

| ah, tho old college-pro debate.
i enjoy college ball better but you must admit there is stuff in the pros that you can't see in college. No, not like the drugs and spousal abuse, etc. but just skill wise. Jodan for instance, was much more fun to watch in the NBA championship than in a College tourney. But i can see where you come from, i jsut watch both

| Re: "claim to fame" That is awesome man! I can imagine Curry was pretty tall even then. He's set to be one of the top power forwards in the game, if he progresses at a good pace.

| I'd like to see Rasheed Wallace get traded to the washington wizards. Although its probably NOT going to happen. I think Michael would be able to calm him down, sorta like Dennis Rodman, and Sheed would provide some much need inside scoring for the Wiz. This would put the Wiz in a real spot to contend in the playoffs.

| How about Chandler and Curry both with double-doubles in the first game since the trade? Those two could be so good it's scary.....
Go Mavericks! How do you like this trade:
Denver gets:
Juwan Howard
Donnell Harvey (tons of potential)
Tim Hardaway
I think a draft choice
Mavericks get:
New starting center Raef LaFrentz
Backup point guard Nick Van Exel
Third string veteran point guard Avery Johnson
Tariq Abdul-Wahad (just to make it work with the cap)
Amazing deal. I can't believe Dallas actually took on Van Exel's massive contract and attitude, just to have him as second string. Raef LaFrentz will help, a LOT. Something tells me Denver doesn't think Antonio McDyess is going to be back this year, or a major part of their near future. Completely amazing. Lot of money being moved there..... I expect Dallas will let Van Exel go his own way after this year, and make a big run at Tim Duncan after next year. Or they could just sign LaFrentz to a big multi-year deal. Who knows. Terrific trade for the Mavericks. I'm not so sure for the Nuggets. Wheeeeeewwwwww......

| I like the Mavericks trade. Being an avid Mavs fan, i got to see a lot of Juwan Howard. I never thought he was completely comfortable in our system. He didn't ever really produce any big numbers, so for me, any trade would have been great. I liked Tim Hardaway, but he is not just an amazing player anymore. He could hit key shots, but usually only after attempting a boat load before then. So the Mavericks finally get a somewhat legit center who can score and steadily get 7-10 rebounds per game. Thats all we need from a guy like Raef. he'll also provide some scoring punch with about 15 a game. Van Exel is a great shooter when he is on, and is ok to have, so i don't really mind the Mavs picking him up. I basically see the trade as Howard for Lafrentz. I think both teams get what they want, and we'll just have to see if Raef can produce like he's capable of doing.

| Honestly, I would have rather seen them leave Nick Van Exel out of it, but then they wouldn't have been able to get LaFrentz, which is who they really wanted in the first place. Van Exel has a bad attitude, and I'm not sure if he's ever going to be happy in this system. But we'll see.
