| I'm excited to announce that my bass came today! She's a beautiful Ibanez SRA 505 blackberry quilted maple, two active pickups, she's georgious and sounds amazing! I'm estatic She's my first - I've been borrowing one for the past year and I'm so excited to finally have my own!
Not a very good picture, but that was the best my webcam would do!

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight. | |

| *sigh* I remember when my Yamaha arrived... Although, I don't play her as often as I could anymore. :P
But awesome, bass. What'd you pay for it?

| Yes, she's active
and she was just under $700
and I'm excited. I'm scheduled to play in the worship team at church this week, even though its supposed to be my week off, just so that my new bass can make her big debut! hehe. My worship pastor is stoked.

| Ugh. I'm jealous...
My first bass was an Ibanez five string that cost me about 700, but a 700$ Ibanez is much better today then it was eight years ago.
Hope it does you well! |

| I have two of the Ibanez basses. Both have been sturdy and reliable with great tone and play ability. |

| It is a great feeling when the Lord blesses us with a new instrument to crank out some rockin praise.
There is a new group that is for Christian bassists to get together and share what we all enjoy and swap pics of our instruments and gear! Check it out and go low with me!
Meet at the LOW END!
