Kids in the way
Today, on my last day of my freshman year I found out two things:

1. One of the guitar players from the band Kids in the Way, Austin Cobb, goes to my school.

2. I've been in a class with him since the start of this semester.

He had been absent from class for quite a long time and we had a group project, and we were in the same group. This is before I knew who he was of course. We emailed him asking what was up and he said "Oh I'm really sorry! I'm currently in Germany touring with my band Kids in the Way but I'll be back with my work done I promise." Mind. Blown. Who would have thought that the guy sitting next to me in class also played guitar on a CD that is on my ipod haha.

Sounds like the Kids are getting in The Way of edjumicashun to me. That is pretty cool though, I remember that band from when they first became popular. Haven't heard much of them since.

I think they stopped making music for a while, and they've just recently started again, playing shows, recording, etc. Cool classmate to have, that's for sure.
