just got her saturday, i've already changed the knobs back to silver, and got a new nut. i've gotta get new strings as the old ones that were there broke... and do something with the pick guard.

My main bass is a Line 6 Variax 5 string...all black (I made a new, black pickguard for it since my picture). I bought it when they closed them out for $499 a few years ago, and I absolutely love it...except for the weight.

I will build a lighter body for it this summer.

Newbie here, can't post pics yet. Playing an LTD B206 and a Peavey Fury V. Saw an SX 5er in an earlier post, wish I didn't get rid of mine and now with that nasty headstock, I will probably never get another one.

My only bass at this point is a Sadowsky NYC Ash-Maple with a quilted top. Sounds great, plays like a dream, cuts thru the mix, and is light for a fiver (8 pounds). I may add some others if I get more gigs, but this is my last main bass.

agreed, but i am getting inlays that match the pick guard, that will be killer
