Guitarist/bassist looking to collaborate over the web.

I was hoping to find a Christian drummer to collaborate over the net with. I have a humble recording rig and I like to lay down tracks with guitar, bass, and vocals, but the drum machine is getting a bit boring.

I was hoping maybe there was a drummer who also had a humble recording rig and would like to record some drums to my tracks? I'm not looking for perfectly polished recordings, but I have decent timing and the audio quality is decent for a home rig.

You can contact me at allglorytoGodministry@gmail.com if you are interested.
Thanks

Oh, my stuff is obviously Christian in lyrics and very influenced by indie bands. Think Pedro the Lion, Cool Hand Luke, Anathallo, Daniel Bashta, just to name a few influences.

You don't have to be an "indie" drummer necessarily, I just wanted to let you know the style of music I've been writing.

Dang. If I had any sort of good recording equipment I'd be totally down for this.

A recording rig would probably run at least a few hundred bucks. Get a firewire interface, buy Reaper recording software, get a few microphones and cables and have at it.

If you can send him the money for all that stuff, I'm sure he'd love to work with you. I would too...

Uh, by the looks of Jam4Christ's soundclick page, he went and bought himself some recording gear.

Isaac, it sounds awesome. I praise God for what He's doing with your talents.

I just realized something. Isaac, AKA jamforchrist123 produced the music for two of the groups that I've opened for. Small world!

Haha! I wish I had my own stuff. Alas, I happen to be roommates/very close friends with a producer/engineer who runs a super neat studio, so I'm his main musician for all things guitars and drums. I'm really pushing hard to make this session-musician thing work as a job, but we'll see what happens!

No way! Which groups do you speak of? And I guess I should clarify, I didn't produce any of the songs on my soundcloud, those are all just artists that i play with/songs that I've played the instruments on. Producing is something I'd really like to get into someday, however!
