| Harmony Central 2.0 Are there any other active members who use both forums? Have you seen the new site?
I was starting to get a little more active over there, but I'm really not digging the site too much...
Here's to hoping CGR never goes that route. |

| I don't know what the new format over there is. I've never gone to or avoided HC because of the layout. I avoided it because many of the people there just aren't a pleasure to interact with. |

| I used to browse it a little, and even created an account. I just never really used it. The main thing I followed was the great deals thread, but like thesteve said, the people are what turned me away.

| I've made quite a few transactions over there. It's a good place to move gear and to find out about new gear coming out. I get my quick answers from over there. I'd have to agree with you on most of the forumites. I don't participate in too much internet nonsenseries, though. |

| I only go to HC to check the reviews when I'm in the market for something, really.

They all take me to Harmony Central: Harmony Central Products, so I have to rely on Google's cache. Hopefully its just a matter of google re-crawling the site.

There's a reason vBulletin is so popular. |

| I've made about 15,000 posts there in the past 9 years.
It used to be my e-home, when the old Veterans forum was around, but then it morphed into Cool Jam and most of us 'regulars' abandoned ship for another private music forum.
Over the past few years the Guitar Jam forum, the place I'll usually visit, has turned into an Open Jam-lite and it's just not a pleasure to be around any longer.
The new forum software is what it is, but it will not change the personalities of those who frequent the place.
Harmony (?) Central...it's an oxymoron. |
