Fried ice cream is a wonderful thing. Same with corndogs. I must say the best corn dogs I've ever had or will ever have were eaten in my home town at the Iowa State Fair.

Onion rings demonstrate the potential that all vegetables have when battered and fried.

Sooooo good. Definitely state fair food where I'm from. Good thing too. Eating more than two a year would probably kill most people.

Salmon. Specifically, tempura salmon. Oh my goodness.

This... Times a MILLION!!

Also, keeping with Art's tempura thought, the chicken tempura at the Japanese place I eat at a lot is UH-MAZING! It practically melts when it hits your mouth, but it's still so crispy and delicious on the outside.

Last time my bacon was deep fried it kind of tasted like fries (since the oil was mostly used for fries and the like). So it wasn't that awesome....

I'm not very adventurous so I'll just say fries are THE best deep fried food.
