| The funny thing to me is that banh mi in Vietnamese just literally translates to "bread".
You could be talking about any sort of baking, really. |

| I always called it bubble tea. Apparently everyone in Cali calls it boba, so I think that's starting to migrate up to the Seattle area, but I'll always call it bubble tea. I think tapioca isn't a drink, tapioca (cassava) is a plant. |

Some places down here also call the boba (or tapioca (or whatever the balls or called)) pearls. Only such a delicious drink will be allowed this many names. |

| Bubble tea is alright. My school has a large Asian population addicted to the stuff, but I get pretty sick of it after not too long... I prefer the really tea-like/more savory flavors, though. Unless the place uses real fruit for the fruit versions... |
