A good solid state system is pretty unusual in guitar amps. JC 120, original acoustic amps are notable exceptions.
I think for clean stuff SS could be preferable. And for your rhodes I would guess it would be. I'd really like to see somebody who has a well known and loved ss pedal make a SS guitar amp. Maybe a hermida, or an MI Audio, or fulltone or something. I think it could be very interesting. | *cough* SBN...  Who knows... |
