| On a related issue, how do you like the nova system? Is it durable? If a switch breaks can it be replaced or are you just boned at that point. Is was looming at one the other day and it just seems so much easier than the pedalboard and interconnect cables and all that stuff. |

I love it. I would guess the switches could be replaced but I have not taken it apart. The delays are great and the modulation is fun. Pitch shifting is okay, but I believe monophonic. (I far prefer my micro POG for that)
I use it for my post preamp stuff because, unlike an m13 it can be used in a +4 db effects loop.
I really like it. Essentially, I would need a rack to replace it. If I had the cash, I would go full on gsystem, but hey, its good.

The only real benefit I can think of to having the mono jacks is the ability to add a second effect to an individual amp's loop. EDIT, scratch that, I can't think of any real reason.

This is not for performance though, I would never tote both amps anywhere. That would just be brutal.

| I don't know. I know that TB pop is usually lessened in the loop, but I've never tried anything like this. Switching the input and output of two different amp loops hooked up to a single multieffects pedal seems loaded with uncertainty.

Never heard of anybody trying this, and I am more than a little concerned about bizarre ground interactions, but it could make life easier.
I found a 4pdt for sale for $14 including shipping. I think I will try this, throw in a ground lift and be prepared for an accidental howling noise that might shatter windows.

| You'll need isolated jacks for the ground lift....if it were me, I'd try it without the lift first. I'm thinking it will probably be fine. Though surely one or both of those amps has a built in ground lift, right?

I know the frenzel with its two preamps requires a ground lift on the a/b/y to not howl with a ground loop. I mean I hope it is easy and all goes well, but I am figuring if it doesn't work, its only $14 in parts I do not have already.
I did find what I think is the mono equivalent, for $300.00
Thats insane!
