| need some help designing my future sbn pedal Hey guys i'm going to have sbn build me a pedal.
It is going to be half bdab, and half lil eagle.
The problem is, i cant come up with a name, or a design for it.
I am going to do it on blank metal with no base color.
I need your help designing the design, and the name.
I can't even come up with a name, but i figure i need to figure out a name before design haha.
So any ideas for names? Maybe something involving lambs?
Thanks,
Nathan |

| Big Daddy Eagle.
Have the standard screaming eagle artwork on it.
You could have one side be Ram, and the other side lamb. With a side profile of two sheep heads with the ram side having head over a red LED for an eye, and lamb side being a BDAB with a white LED for an eye. Just a simple line drawing...

Just a simple line drawing... | The whole LED for an eye thing is always hard to pull off. You have to get the hole in just the right place and then try not to stretch it out....
Also, chups, think about how big you want the pedal to be. Do you want a more compact pedal (with less artwork), or a spread out pedal (with more artwork). You've got two footswitches. Same price, either way.
125b - 4.5 h x 2.5 w (boss sized, more or less)
or
1590bb - 3.7h x 4.7 w (the same size as the koopa troopa)

What about not doing led in eye, but still doing lamb and ram thing?
Maybe the lamb side has a lamb over nice green grass or something, then the ram side has a ram on a more... agressive looking land haha.
and for the opamp, i think i want the opa2342

That means no color, just one solid greyish on the metal. But it has a very cool look to it and would fit the lamb, ram idea very well.
You could go very simple with the name and just have "ramb" in between the lamb and ram heads.
Also, SBN, I think the whole doing more custom designed pedals thing is a great direction for you to take your work, because you're quite good at it. Kinda like the Zvex hand painted mojo... only good sounding and looking.

Anway, i dont like ramb as a name. at all.
sbn, do you think we should go color or etch? I'm kinda stuck in the middle. Color could be more cartoonish, but ech could be pretty cool
still working on name though. have some serious trouble |
