But then again... thats a fairly slow process, and I have botched it up at least once.
I was thinking simple line drawing transfer that could be put on after the eye was drilled. Sorry, in my head it sounded simple. Head to reality can have quite an astronomical difference.
That said, I am thinking of doing some fun things with engraved enclosures in the near future...

I'd hire someone to do it for me but I'd have to charge about 50% more. I'd image that a good chunk in the cost of a zvex is what he pays his artists.

Anway, i dont like ramb as a name. at all.
sbn, do you think we should go color or etch? I'm kinda stuck in the middle. Color could be more cartoonish, but ech could be pretty cool
still working on name though. have some serious trouble | The etch might be interesting if I can get a good enough design. There can't be a lot of detail with an etch though, so your ideas for backgrounds might have to be toned down a bit.
If etched, I could even add whatever color you'd like to the etch. You talked about white earlier. White might be hard to see, but whatever you'd like. Quote:

For example, a SHO has 3 dollars worth of parts (resistors, caps, etc) in it, about 8 dollars with of parts on it (jacks, switches, enclosure), and costs 239. The vexter series is cheaper, but doesn't have the fancy artwork. I like the artwork though. I don't like it enough to spend 200 on it, but I think it's groovy. If I could hand paint, I'd probably do something similar.

| Change it to a donkey-based design.
I'd call it BadAss.
Maybe I should save that one for my board, though... |
