I'll say this. Behringer's not known for any sort of reliability. NONE! They're actually known for their UNreliability.
Not only that but the Bugera gives you less than mediocre, generic tone at a price tag that can easily be matched by a much more qualified used amplifier that will be more reliable and sound better in the long and short term.

thanks Ax, that's helpful....what were you comparing the Bugera with, and what would you recommend instead, keeping in mind that it's the low wattage I'm interested in?
Holy crap... I didn't know the V5 was going for 150... I've only had experience with their bigger one that was selling around 400... it'd be hard to match that pricetag... I'm sorry I mislead you... that being said, I'd still be wary about buying one... Also with that speaker... it's gonna be hard to get a usable tone...

I hear a lot of folks talk about getting little tube combos like this, tossing the old speaker and getting a Weber or a vintage Fender Champ driver off ebay. Weber 8" drivers are pretty reasonably priced if I remember right.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.
