Does it make a lot of noise when you're only using one side?
i mean significant amount of noise. it wasnt ridiculous, i guess im just trying to figure out if it is just the nature of the pedal, which if it is, i dont have an issue... i just didnt want it to be doing it if it could be fixed.

What is a significant amount of noise? To me that would mean so much noise that the pedal is not useful. Sounds to me like you're willing to live with it, so it might be just the nature of the pedal like I talked about.

yea thats what im saying, its enough so that i cant leave it on, but not so much that it takes over the tone of the pedal.

I'd say then that it's just standard with the pedal, nothing "wrong" with it.

Are you using a noise gate anywhere? I get a fair bit of fizz with mine with the gain up but that's taken away with my gate.

I have a J&H and found that using good patch cables and a noise gate reduced virtually all buzz/hum.

Any distortion pedal will give a bit of noise unfortunately.

If your talking about the white noise then there is nothing wrong but if your talking about something similer to the popping you hear in the video then I don't know what to tell you if VS couldn't find anything wrong. You could try returning the pedal but other than that I don't know what else can be done since the company oked the pedal. AS far as the white noise, I have a MXR: Wylde Overdrive and this thing is pretty noisy while being used with my Peavey: Bandit. But when used with my Marshall it's fine. You could also try using a new cord/patch cable and see if that fixes the problem.
